G’day there!
My name is Dakota Ochsenham and I am the founder and creator of the Vocation Mentor.
I created this platform to give others what I wished I had growing up: access to successful, passionate and purpose-driven people in all walks of life to discover which pathway might suit me.
After finishing school I signed a professional contract with Adelaide United in the A-League and then later on played with Melbourne City FC, winning the A-League with them in the 2024/25 season.
But my footballing journey has been anything but quiet and secure. This reality of career change also helped me discover that people were not being given the proper jobs for helping them navigate a huge part of their lives: after all, people will end up spending 2/3rds of their life or approximately 90,000 precious hours working. Therefore, the stakes are high for how you spend the rest of your life.
I hope this platform inspires you to write your own script in life by discovering your calling!
